The short version
- thezenpens.com was an earlier ZenPens website. We no longer run it, and we cannot vouch for anything on it.
- Please do not log in, enter personal details, download files or follow links on that site.
- This site, the one you are on now, is the only official home of ZenPens.
What happened
For a long time that website was not actively looked after, and this year we found that it had been compromised. We cannot be sure who controls it today or what it now contains, and nothing on it speaks for us.
That is why we built this new site. It is safer, better looked after, and made for the writers and readers who make ZenPens what it is. We have written the address of the old site in plain text on purpose, so that it is easy to recognise but not a link to click.
If you are a reader
If you land on thezenpens.com, leave without clicking anything. If you signed up there with an email address and a password, please change that password on any other site where you used the same one. Anything you see on that site that asks for money, details or downloads did not come from us.
If you are a writer
Many writers shared their work on the earlier site, and we have not forgotten it. If your writing appeared there, you are welcome to write to us at contactzenpens@gmail.com. Tell us the title and where it appeared, and we will help where we can. We cannot control what is on a site we no longer run, but we can talk to you about your options, including sharing your work here.
How to know it is really us
ZenPens has three official places: this website, our Writer’s Community on WhatsApp, and the email address contactzenpens@gmail.com. If anyone claiming to be ZenPens writes to you from somewhere else, or asks you for money or a password, please check with us first.
